Dr Aylett is the interaction theme convener within the department of computer science (CS) in the school of Mathematics and Computer Science (MACS). At CS we have researchers exploring many aspects of interaction with artificial system, varying from more traditional human computer interaction through to specialised human robot interaction as well in human-centred machine learning, language and speech processing, data interpretation and active visualisation.
We have three sub groups within our interaction at present:
We have two other themes within CS, Intelligent Systems and Rigorous Systems. See our CS research pages for more information . As theme convener I encourage and support cross group collaboration and help our theme members present their work to the University as a whole.
